Shupavu respects the intellectual property rights of others and expects our school partners, staff, and users to do the same. This policy outlines how we handle copyright infringement reports under the DMCA (Digital Millennium Copyright Act).

1. Notification of Infringement

If you believe content on Shupavu infringes your copyright, please send a written notice to our Designated Agent that includes:

  • Your full name and contact information
  • A description of the copyrighted content
  • The exact link or location of the content on Shupavu
  • A statement of good faith belief that the use is unauthorized
  • A statement under penalty of perjury that the information is accurate and you’re authorized to act
  • Your physical or electronic signature

2. Counter-Notification

If your material was removed in error, submit a counter-notice including:

  • Your full contact information
  • Description and location of removed content
  • A statement under penalty of perjury asserting wrongful removal
  • Your consent to jurisdiction of the courts in Kenya
  • Your signature

3. Repeat Infringers

Shupavu may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly violate copyright rights.

4. False Claims

Misleading or false DMCA claims may lead to legal liability. Please verify facts before submitting.
