Welcome to Shupavu. These Terms and Conditions ("Terms") govern your access and use of the Shupavu platform, including all web and mobile services, software, content, and applications related to school management, fee collection, student monitoring, staff oversight, and more.
By using Shupavu, you confirm that you are authorized to act on behalf of your institution and that you accept and agree to comply with these Terms.
To use Shupavu, institutions must register an official account. The user registering must be an authorized representative of the school or institution. You agree to provide accurate, complete, and updated information and maintain the confidentiality of your account credentials.
You are solely responsible for any activity under your account, including activity from authorized users such as bursars, teachers, support staff, and administrators.
Shupavu offers services such as digital fee collection, staff role assignment, student performance tracking, attendance management, parent notifications, and academic reports.
We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any features at any time to improve the platform or comply with legal and regulatory requirements. We may also release beta features from time to time, which may be unstable or experimental.
Schools are billed based on the selected plan (e.g., Free, Starter, Pro, Enterprise). Billing may be monthly, annually, or based on custom institutional agreements.
You are responsible for all applicable taxes and timely payments. Failure to pay may result in account suspension or service interruption. Refunds are issued only for system-related errors and not due to unused access or voluntary cancellation.
Users agree not to use Shupavu for:
Violation of this policy may lead to immediate suspension, data removal, or legal action.
Shupavu allows assignment of user roles such as Principal, Bursar, Teacher, Parent, Student, and Support Staff. Each role has pre-set permissions.
If your school operates multiple campuses, you can assign and switch between them under a central administration dashboard. All data remains segmented unless otherwise configured.
All payments processed via Shupavu (e.g., M-PESA, bank transfer, card) are reconciled in real time. You will receive full visibility of transactions via your finance dashboard.
Shupavu is not liable for payment failures caused by third-party processors, incorrect account details, or user error.
Your institution retains ownership of its academic records, student data, financial reports, and uploaded content. By using the platform, you grant Shupavu a limited license to access, store, and process this data for service delivery and platform improvement.
We comply with the Data Protection Act of Kenya and do not share your data with third parties without consent, unless required by law.
All content, systems, code, user interface design, and branding of Shupavu is the intellectual property of Neftac Global Ltd. Unauthorized use or reproduction of any part of the system is strictly prohibited.
While we aim for 99.9% uptime, we may conduct scheduled maintenance or emergency patches. Notices will be sent in advance where possible. Shupavu is not liable for losses resulting from unplanned downtimes or technical issues.
You may terminate your use of the service at any time. Shupavu also reserves the right to terminate access for violations of these terms, suspected fraud, system misuse, or inactivity beyond 180 days.
Upon termination, data export can be requested within 14 days.
To the fullest extent allowed by law, Shupavu shall not be held liable for indirect losses, including interruption of operations, academic delay, or loss of reputation. Our total liability is capped at the total amount paid in fees over the past 90 days.
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of the Republic of Kenya. In the event of a dispute, parties shall first attempt resolution via mediation. If unresolved, the matter shall be referred to a competent Kenyan court.
